TERMS OF SERVICE · EFFECTIVE 17 OCTOBER 2026

Know what to expect.

These Terms apply to the TalkVance service. They should be read with our Privacy Policy and any separately accepted written customer or integration agreement.

01
Who provides the service

Operator, scope and agreement

TalkVance is provided by TalkVance Technologies, a sole proprietorship based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (referred to here as TalkVance, we or us). These Terms of Service govern access to talkvance.com and our associated meetings, communication, collaboration, recording, intelligence and workspace features.

By registering for, accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use TalkVance for an organization, you must have authority for the actions you take on its behalf. A separate signed business, partner or paid-service agreement may supplement these Terms; its expressly agreed terms control the specific services it covers where there is a conflict.

If you do not agree, please do not create or use an account. The service is designed for users who can lawfully enter this agreement or are participating under authorized organizational supervision.

02
Keep credentials and participation secure

Accounts and authorized workspace access

You must provide reasonably accurate registration and contact information, protect your login credentials, and promptly notify us through Contact & Support if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activities performed through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

An organization controls the memberships and roles it assigns. An organizer or administrator can invite or remove members, change permissions and manage shared workspace settings. A person who leaves or loses access to a workspace may no longer be able to retrieve its meeting, chat, recording or other content.

Access to a meeting, channel, Live Event, recording or transcript is always subject to applicable current permissions and plan entitlements. A forwarded URL or invitation does not by itself authorize an otherwise restricted action.

03
What may be available to your workspace

Services, plans and feature availability

TalkVance provides browser meetings, audio/video calling, messaging, Workstreams, scheduling, permissions and optional advanced tools. Depending on the active plan and configuration, some workspaces may also use recording, transcription, AI intelligence, interactive Live Events, classes and custom branding.

Features are subject to real authorization, resource limits, technical readiness, participant consent, browser compatibility and any applicable organizational policy. Free does not include recording or AI request allowances. Availability of a button, preview or plan description is not proof that an unactivated entitlement or optional provider has been enabled.

Large-scale passive broadcast delivery, translated live captions, general student assignment/grading workflows and custom hosted tenant domains are not currently generally offered. Custom in-app integrations require individual review and are not automatically included with a public plan.

04
Respectful, lawful collaboration

Acceptable use and platform protection

You must not use TalkVance to break the law, harass or threaten people, distribute malware, deceive or impersonate others, capture content unlawfully, infringe intellectual property, share access without authorization, or interfere with other users or platform infrastructure.

Do not bypass session, tenant, rate-limit, meeting-permission or usage controls; reverse engineer restricted credentials; scan for vulnerabilities without written permission; or use automation to overload the service. You are responsible for obtaining the permissions and notices required for the content you upload, transmit or share.

We may investigate credible reports of abuse and proportionately restrict access or content where necessary to protect the service, comply with law or prevent harm, subject to applicable legal rights.

05
Responsibilities of organizers and attendees

Meetings, guest participation and recording consent

Organizers control invitations, waiting rooms and applicable participant privileges. They are responsible for obtaining appropriate authorization to invite other people, sharing meeting details securely and handling the confidentiality expectations of their own meetings.

Recording, transcription, captions and intelligence are controlled by entitlements, permissions and relevant consent settings. Before recording or transcribing anyone, the organizer must provide notices and obtain consent where applicable. You must not attempt to evade recording notices or make unauthorized private recordings using external tools.

TalkVance does not guarantee that a participant will agree to recording or that a requested recording, transcript or AI output will always be available, complete or error-free.

06
Ownership and the permission needed to provide services

Your content and permitted processing

As between you and TalkVance, you and your applicable organization retain rights you otherwise hold in messages, uploaded materials, recordings, notes, calendar data and other content you provide. You confirm you have the rights needed to upload or share it.

You permit TalkVance and its necessary service providers to host, transmit, display, process, store, back up and, when you enable the relevant feature, transcribe or analyze that content solely to operate and provide the requested service, implement lawful retention and security requirements, or comply with applicable law.

This permission does not transfer ownership of customer content to TalkVance. You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of shared content, decisions, meeting minutes and any automated or AI-generated output before relying on it.

07
Special uses and customer-controlled workflows

Live Events, education and third-party integrations

Interactive Live Events, webinars and training functions depend on configured audience limits, roles, registration permissions, stage readiness, provider capacity and recording settings. They are not a promise of passive broadcast-scale delivery.

Organizations using course/class features must protect learner information and secure any legally required guardian or institutional permissions. General student submissions and grading are not enabled. The presence of a school or training workspace type does not authorize an unsupervised child-facing deployment.

Partners integrating TalkVance into a separate customer application must use approved server-to-server credentials and restricted media sessions, satisfy their own customer-authentication and notice obligations, and complete separate technical and commercial onboarding. Hosted TalkVance pages are not offered as a cross-site iframe.

08
Published list rates are not automatic charges

Free plans, paid-plan enquiries and taxes

New eligible workspaces currently start on the Free plan. TalkVance publishes INR list prices at talkvance.com/pricing: Pro ₹499 monthly or ₹4,990 annually for one personal workspace; Business ₹4,999 monthly or ₹49,990 annually for one organization workspace, subject to the configured member and usage allowances. Enterprise is individually quoted.

The yearly list amount is prepaid for twelve months and is equivalent to ten monthly list payments. These are per-workspace prices, not per-user charges. The public site currently has no self-service paid checkout, payment-card collection or automatic subscription activation.

A request for a paid plan does not itself create a payable order or recurring charge. Before any paid activation, we will separately confirm the customer's plan, applicable tax treatment, total payable amount, service term, invoicing, any applicable renewal arrangement, cancellation and refund terms, and expressly agreed entitlements. An accepted written offer or order will govern that paid arrangement, subject to applicable law. No self-service auto-renewal promise is made.

09
When access changes or ends

Cancellation, suspension and account closure

A user may stop using TalkVance or ask for account closure through Contact & Support. A workspace owner or administrator may remove access for its members under applicable product controls. We may require identity and ownership verification before acting on a deletion or ownership-transfer request.

If you have a separately agreed paid plan, its written cancellation, expiry, renewal and refund conditions apply together with any mandatory legal rights. Ending use or losing access does not by itself produce a refund or immediately remove legally retained, archived, audit or backup records.

We may suspend or restrict access for a serious security issue, legal requirement, material misuse or threat to the service. Where practical and legally appropriate, we will explain the issue and available means to contact us.

10
Assistance is not professional advice

AI and information accuracy

Transcripts, summaries, captions, extracted decisions and answers from Ask TalkVance can contain errors or omissions and depend on available sources, permissions and optional providers. TalkVance does not provide legal, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice through these outputs.

You remain responsible for independently checking important information and confirming suggested tasks or actions before assigning them or acting upon them. TalkVance does not promise automatic task execution outside the user's authorized workflows.

11
What the service provider owns

TalkVance software and branding

TalkVance Technologies and its licensors retain their rights in TalkVance software, product interfaces, names, logos, service documentation and other platform materials. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the enabled service during your authorized access, subject to these Terms.

You must not represent that you own or can relicense TalkVance trademarks, source code or restricted platform APIs. Permission to use a customer-customized workspace brand does not grant a license to use another organization's brand.

12
Your information and organization responsibilities

Privacy, security and retention

Our Privacy Policy at talkvance.com/privacy explains data categories, purposes, sharing, optional AI processing, retention, controls and request routes. Organizations remain responsible for their own lawful use of members', attendees' and learners' information and for choosing appropriate workspace policies.

We use security and access controls, but no internet service is risk-free. You must use appropriate devices, passwords, participant notices and secure sharing practices. No statement in these Terms should be read as an unverified certification, absolute encryption guarantee, or general data-residency commitment.

13
Operating a developing online service

Availability, changes and interruptions

We work to maintain the service, but connectivity, browsers, outside networks, media infrastructure, storage and optional third-party providers can affect performance. Scheduled maintenance, upgrades, outages or security incidents may interrupt access or a particular feature.

Except where expressly agreed in a separate written contract or required by law, no specific uptime percentage, uninterrupted stream, universal device compatibility or guaranteed large-room capacity is offered by these public Terms. We may improve or retire features subject to applicable law and any binding customer agreement.

14
Fair treatment under applicable law

Responsibility and legal protections

Each party remains responsible for its own unlawful acts, material misuse, and obligations that applicable law does not permit it to exclude. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, TalkVance does not warrant that the service or AI-generated content will be uninterrupted, error-free or appropriate for every purpose. Additional warranties, remedies and negotiated liability arrangements for paid or enterprise services will be specified in the relevant signed agreement rather than invented on this page.

15
The current published agreement

Changes to the Terms

These Terms are effective from 17 October 2026. We may update them to reflect changes in services, commercial practices, security or applicable law. The published revision appears at talkvance.com/terms, with an updated revision date.

Where legally required, or where a material change warrants it, we will make a suitable notice available before applying new terms. Any additional consent or express acceptance required by law will be obtained separately.

16
Questions and disputes

Applicable law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections or other mandatory rules. Any jurisdiction or dispute-resolution provision in a separately signed customer contract will apply to that contract to the extent lawfully permitted.

Before escalating a service dispute, please contact TalkVance Technologies through talkvance.com/contact so we can investigate and respond. We operate from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. For a privacy-related issue, you may also follow the request process explained in the Privacy Policy. These options do not prevent you from using remedies available under applicable law.
